PERFORMANCE AT MOTHERSHIP NYC

On 16th of August 2022 Stefanie Gerstmayr, Rolf-Maria Krückels and Ezra Moth presented a collaborative performance piece combining drawing, animation and movement at Mothership in NYC. It was based on Rolf-Maria´s Drawing Machine project.

The Drawing Machine is a vehicle which becomes activated by two or more participants, creating a form of direct communication without words. The process creates a situation of vulnerability and contact in which people generate an image together which is not a representation, but rather a poetic manifestation of their encounter.
